Basic membership

Purchase an annual Hub City Writers Project membership at the cash register or online and get a discount of 25 percent on all hardback bestsellers and Hub City Press titles, and a discount of 10 percent on everything else in the store. Our basic membership is $30. A $100 "Best Friend" membership gets you a limited edition of Hub City Press' lead title in hardback. The premium membership book for 2011 is Artists Among Us. This special book, which is not sold at retail, will be delivered to you in November 2011 just in time for Christmas. And your membership check is tax-deductible because it supports the educational and publishing missions of the Hub City Writers Project!

Book clubs

The Hub City Bookshop offers discounts of 20 percent to Upstate book clubs that purchase at least six copies of a title. And if your book club needs reading suggestions, we can arrange a time for members of your group to meet with a bookseller at our store to select titles. Write a review, get a discount

Our customers get special discounts for sending us short written reviews of the books they purchase. Using the form on the home page, send us a 50-word review and get $1 off your next purchase (limit three per month). If we choose one of yours to publish on our webpage, that’s $3 off your next purchase! We want you not only to read books, we want you to write about them as well!

Schools, colleges, churches and institutions

A bulk purchase of at least 12 copies of a single title gets you a 20 percent discount. Give us a call at 577-9349 to arrange your purchase!
